Back in 2008, Cursed Eternity my former band called it a day. However, lead guitarist Shaun and I kept creating. I remember he sent me this demo called Angry Spider that just hooked me. It was full of ear worm riffs and just had this timeless feel to it. This song evolved into a new band called Shadow Self. The song was played by Shadow Self in every formation of the band until it's ending in 2010.
After Shaun’s passing in 2018, I promised to finish the music we started. With Finality, we brought some of his riffs to life on Technocracy — and now, his final song has been completed, staying true to his original 2009 vision he had when we we're in Shadow Self.
